*** CURRENTLY UNDER RECONSTRUCTION ***

"There is no amount of pretty in the world that can cover a venomous heart."

Ah, the irony! Rhonda Huntress said that, and she also said:

No darling, that is called positive discrimination.

Willow Danube said in the SLF: " So what if I am not funny? So what if I'm not lyrical? So what if I don't use punctuations well? So what if I can't read English good? So what if I'm not in one of your inworld forum groups? Flame me and you'll have Mods circumcising your writings into a vanilla post. That's what I call as Equal."

Pep (said "No, that's catering to the lowest common denominator and discriminating against those who are able to express themselves accurately in an entertaining manner.")

PS Willow's a member of one of the continental lodges of the LWL, the "Girls With Gueules".

  1. Agreed. It might be nice to have that feeling of protection, but it does not mean equality.

  3. Shouldn't that be "Oudewijvenkoek"?

Pep (translated as "Old Hag's Cake".)

    "Oh no you di-int!"
    and/or
    "oh snap!"

I've been seriously giggling since reading this. The blogorums are much more entertaining this way — read the funny bits, the good lines, and move along. I haven't a clue who this clueless person is who can't read good and yet it really doesn't matter, does it? These types of posters are all of a piece and this is what your post highlights.

Your blog and Lee's serve the same purpose; you just don't do yours in a wall of text. I like the wall of text, too, in that it gives the whole meal while you serve up the bon mots as a :::cough::: delicate morsel. Different servings for different moods.

Why didn't the writer of the post you quoted just say, "I'm stupid, humorless, and illiterate but if you point that out you'll get spanked by over-zealous moderation that is also stupid, humorless, and illiterate?" Oh, right, they do not have the ability to write that. NM.

I'm sure that poster is a fan of every kid in a competition getting a 1st Prize just for showing up; thus ensuring the kids who truly excel never realize they do or they give up trying and at the same time giving the slow kids a sense of entitlement they do not deserve! Yay! It leads to fucked up adults rather evenly!

I see Derek has spotted the reason for your recent loquaciousness in posting. I hope the remote eludes your grasp!
