*** CURRENTLY UNDER RECONSTRUCTION ***

"There is no amount of pretty in the world that can cover a venomous heart."

Ah, the irony! Rhonda Huntress said that, and she also said:

It's just over the horizon for you, Kick

Even though I am banned from gV I am able, of course, still to monitor their puerile disputes when Lee's blog indicates it might be worthwhile. Having had a heads up that Cato had registered there after our altercation I noticed that her presence had provoked a resurgence in discussion regarding my character or lack of one - which rather conflicts with an alternative generalised perception of me as having a plurality of individuality. In particular, Kick, who is less rabidly hyper-emotional than most there posted these words:

The difference with Pep is that he makes a point of saying things that aren't true to begin with.
Like having kids and a wife that have tons of problems, but are great at tons of shit... to the point where it's physically impossible to be involved in everything mentioned.

Kick mate, I hate to break it to you, but I understand you are about to make the biggest mistake of your life in a few weeks time, because being married with kids means that what I say about my family isn't the half billionth of it!

  1. Yes, Pep name dropping has gone up exponentially since the Badger registered. What was the altercation about anyway?

  2. I found out she was seeing one of my alts behind my back.

  3. I was married for 30 years.
    Man...am I loving being single.

    In fact...
    Woot!!!!111 eleventy.

Not an expression I use too often...but given the circumstances, I trust you will forgive this display of exuberance.

  4. Watching the inhabitants of any forum trying to nail down the nuanced verisimilitude of your caricature is like watching a blind man hunt cockroaches with a hammer.
Often funny, always messy, and somewhat pathetic. You want to help them but turning on a light is ineffective and if you get too close to guide them, you are in danger of being peened yourself.

Best to stand back and enjoy the show.

(And toss your peanut shells in the opposite corner)

PS The same holds true for men about to get married.

  5. "I found out she was seeing one of my alts behind my back..."

    WE were not!
    >:|
Oh wait ::: I have to check the records ::: "Cato is accused of being Pep's alt", "Cato is accused of being 'my' alt", "CaTO and I are both accused of being your alt"... ok the record holds.

WE WERE NOT! It is untrue! We (all of us alts) were seeing one of your alts on the SIDE. Silly man.

So, anyway Kick's point is that you cannot both have kids with problems AND be involved in their lives and/or you cannot have issues with your wife and have time for other things? Hahahahaha! Yes yes, that's how it works in the real world isn't it? Well, we ALL know how people can KNOW everything about our RL's by reading forum posts.

  6. Cool song there, Pep. :)

And... LOL@ "seeing one of my alts behind my back".
I imagine you saying that with a very straight face.

And yeah, being married to a top model who flies to Paris every weekend after working at the LHC all week may be difficult, but I'm sure the family of trained midgets we met in Oklahoma yesterday will help out here and there.

Er... I mean, nah... I'm looking forward to being married and having kids with her and being happy and stuff.

And you don't have any lack of character, quite the opposite.
I see you as presenting yourself as being a character, or rather characters, more than a person with a forum account.
    If that makes sense?

  7. I am only half joking Kick when I say you don't know what you are letting yourself in for.

Pep (But that's the challenge of giving up your total command of the remote in exchange for the opportunity to quarrel about whose turn it is to change the diapers.)

  8. I am going to assume that Pep was finally able to steal away to the computer while the missus was engrossed in 'Casualty' to bulk post the days missives and I can now point out, true to prediction, Kick confirmed my Big 3 of the soon to be groomed male.
Shouldn't be long now till Pep has control of the remote and he can settle in for Match of the Day.

  9. Pep = never happily married.

Pep (How about a philosophical explanation in one of your blogs if you feel inclined to share on how it - never - happened for you?)

  10. Or how it came to be your good fortune that it- never happened to you?

    Nope.
My point was that all the things he's mentioned about his kids (and wife) being involved in got to the point where it wouldn't be physically possible for them to actually be doing all of those things at the same time.

Pep - I know you're half-kidding and I get it. It's why I didn't get married to other girls I had relationships with.
A big reason I decided to settle down with this girl is because she's cool and instead of sucking the life out of me, she's supportive of me being able to be myself.

  14. Kick - the stuff about my family is all true . . .

Pep ( . . . it's the stuff about me that is pure fabrication.)

While I don't know Kick from Adam and have no beef to grill with him/her/it...
Um...what I said you said earlier is pretty much the same thing as what you just said. (ow, that hurts my head)

I do know Pep from Adam and know (or think I do) when he is telling a version of the truth or spinning yarns (or think I do). I don't follow all of the forums/blogs but in all the posts I've seen him make he's been pretty consistent in reporting both the activities he is involved with for his family and the, erm, "issues" involved in said family. I see absolutely NO indication of "too much to be true." Quite the contrary, what he reports is all too common for many people I know in real life.

Oh, and he's fabricating when he says the stuff about him is pure fabrication (or so I think, perhaps, maybe). If nothing else there is nothing "pure" about it, except pure mischief perhaps. But he's not fabricating at the top of this blog when he talks about fabricating.
