  1. Hmm
Is that a *different* public web hosting site displaying IP info?
The populist defintion of insanity springs to mind, but for my money I will go with stupidity of the first order.
Genn certainly seems to be hypersensitive of late.
You were saying something about "cockups"?

  2. Actually, the image showing the IP address is contained in the private message, so it isn't a breach of privacy. In fact, the IP address is that of one of the myriad proxies that I am using to log in to SL, that one being appropriately called calculatepie.com so I am not too worried about publishing it here. You obviously haven't looked at an expanded view of the email and read the reason for the warning though . . .

  4. One would almost think Genn was told to warn you, but was not given a good enough reason (or he did not agree) and therefore made up this one to show you it is not his fault he has a lousy job?

  7. I am pleased that people are noticing the extraneous remarks as well as the (admittedly slightly doctored) email from Genn. No-one has commented on the box which says Find: Suspiria yet though!

  8. I guess I should have said "Many telling things in this capture including [but not limited to] ..." ;-)
